One of the things I love most about blogging is discovering new blogs that inspire me. Just when I think I’ve seen or read everything, I stumble upon something I haven’t read before and I am reminded just how vast the ‘ole interweb is. So when I happened upon Sarah M. Dorsey Designs a few months ago, I knew I needed to share her awesome DIY projects with you. I’ve been following Sarah for awhile and her projects are always original and inventive. Plus, she is currently living in the Central Coast area and her photos remind me of Santa Barbara and help take some of that homesickness away. Take a gander at a few of my favorite projects from Sarah (click on the image to go to the original post) and hopefully you’ll be as inspired as I have been.
Creativity taken to a whole new level–this mirror made from a glass-paneled chandelier is genius.
I love the color combination of this reupholstered cane chair. Chartreuse is beautiful with the crisp white fabric and those ikat panels in the background are not too shabby either.
Okay, this table is officially added to my project list! My favorite details are the drawer pulls that Sarah made for $2 each.
I know, I know, I’m a sucker for anything that remotely resembles navy blue. Suzani fabric + navy trim + light blue back = one fantastic pillow.
On another note, a huge “thank you” to everyone who has been so supportive of this blog. Your comments, sharing of links and repins on Pinterest helped me hit a new level of readership this week and I am so excited–you all are the bees knees! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
